Between a Man and His Heart
For Editors, Booksellers, and Reviewers
About the Book
Between a Man and His Heart is the debut novel of Bryan Marovich. It is an intimate, character-driven work about grief, marriage, anxiety, and faith — the story of a man, recently bereaved and quietly unwell, who returns with his wife to the Bahamas in search of stillness. Written by hand over the course of a difficult year, the novel is shaped by the author's life as a revert to Islam and his belief that healing comes not in a single breakthrough but in the accumulation of days.
